I have lived and worked in Montgomery County, Maryland for over 60 years. I love to work with first time home buyers and people in every generation. I do spend a lot of time working with older adults in the County. I help them transition through the challenging stages of aging in place, downsizing, or moving to one of the numerous older adult communities in the County.

Working with older adults often means working with a team of family members. My goal is to be part of the team, as a trusted fiduciary, practicing excellent communication skills across multiple parties.

Downsizing, rightsizing or making a lateral move to age in place can be stressful and a daunting task. It does require a qualified team to advise and help with the process.

I will take the time to work with you and your family to discuss needs, propose options and help you determine the very best community option for you. We can work within the specifications you provide and locate a property that fits your needs.

As an SRES® designee, I leverage my senior education, my senior experience and my senior network to find properties, determine competitive offers, and negotiate purchases on your behalf.

I maintain and manage a network of area contractors, movers, organizers and inspectors. I am a member of the Grass Roots Organization for the Well-being of Seniors which provides me with another network of senior care providers and senior care living communities.

When there is a need, I can assist in the disposition of estate assets by:
• Coordinating the organization of property contents
• Maximizing donations, clean out and sales
• Arranging certified appraisals
• Supervising the sale of contents
• Managing distribution of valued items to family members

Availability: My wife and I have busy schedules but he was always available to talk on the phone, responded quickly to emails, and could always find a time to show us a listing we were interested in within 24  hours. 2.) Listening: he listened to all of our priorities and targeted our search to houses that met our needs. When pressed, David would offer us advice about a home, but he went out of his way to offer options. He encouraged us to come to our own conclusion about each home, which left us feeling much more comfortable with each decision. He used the same strategy during negotiations with the seller of the home we purchased. He listened to our priorities, offered a set of options, and let us make the choice on how to proceed at each step. 3.) Above-and-beyond-ness: When our home inspection showed a stove burner that was not lighting on one side and the sellers expressed certainty that the kitchen equipment was all working well, David asked to go back to the home and cleaned the burner to make sure it worked all the way around: it’s been working like a charm ever since. This is one example of dozens of ways that David went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the home before we moved in.
